2026 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships

The UCI Mountain Bike World Championships will take place in Val di Sole, Italy, in 2026. From 26 to 30 August, the renowned venue in the Trentino region will once again welcome the world’s best riders to compete for rainbow jerseys across five formats: cross-country Olympic (XCO), cross-country relay (XCR), cross-country short track (XCC), E-mountain bike (E-MTB), and downhill (DHI).
Val di Sole first welcomed the world’s best off-road specialists for the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships as far back as 2008. Since then, the valley in the Trentino region of Italy has gone on to host UCI events on no fewer than 15 occasions, a record that firmly establishes its status as one of the most celebrated venues in mountain bike.
The venue is known for its dramatic alpine landscapes, passionate crowds, and legendary courses, including the infamous “Black Snake” downhill track and some of the sport’s most technical cross-country Olympic circuits. With the cross-country relay, cross-country short track and cross-country E-mountain bike also on the programme, there will not be a dull moment. Val di Sole is ready to write the next chapter of the remarkable story linking it to the international mountain bike scene.
